Prop your phone side-on. Whole body in frame, bar included. Everything runs on this device — the video never leaves your phone.
Browsers only allow camera access on https:// or
localhost. This page was opened some other way, so the camera
button below will not work. Open the deployed address instead.
A back squat is tracked from the hip, because your hands leave the bar and your hip rises with it. Everything else is tracked from your hands.
Your thresholds, not ours. Leave a box empty to ignore that side. Torso is how far your whole trunk tilts from upright — the visible part of "am I folding forward?". It is not a spine measurement; a rounded back and a flat back at the same tilt read identically here. An angle only counts when the joint is clearly visible — a rule is never reported as passing just because the app could not see you.
Already filmed your set? Upload the clip and it is analysed on this device. Seven common formats supported; the file is never uploaded anywhere.
If the camera does not appear, check the browser's site settings for this page and allow camera access.
Saving keeps a small JSON file of this set — the bar position, speed and judgement for every frame the app inspected. It is what lets a bad set be diagnosed later instead of guessed at. Nothing leaves this phone.
